MORE PERSONAL SPACE Stretching on an area of 50 acres and with its 426 rooms and suites, Wave Resort follows the modern architectural solutions aimed towards avoiding large gatherings of people and creating opportunities for more personal space. The attraction-rich infrastructure is separated into zones and targets the product to meet the expectations and the needs of different audiences – families with children, couples, etc. The area by the 7 outdoor pools is divided into small spaces with lots of umbrellas and sunbeds and the relaxation cabins create even greater possibilities.
THE OPEN SPACES around the complex’s fountains are a suitable place for holding concerts and company parties under the night sky. Various team building events, yoga retreats and sports activities are organized on the green areas and the beautiful beach and our beach bar is a great unconventional place for evening gatherings with light music and summer cocktails.
THE NUTRITION AS AN ATTRACTION The preparation of the food in front of the guest’s eyes and the serving of it by the chefs turns the main buffet-restaurant into an attraction. Life cooking stations displace the internal kitchen in terms of area, occupying a central place in the dining hall. Areas in the restaurant are separated by vegetation, stone walls and decorative partitions. The small boutique a-la-carte restaurants (3 in number) offer greater intimacy and personal service. The 24-hour bistro, food court area and 4 bars complete the variety of food and beverage establishments in the complex.
SEA AND HEALTH Wave Resort Medical and Spa offers treatment programs using the properties of the famous Pomorie mud and lye, which help strengthen the immune system. The W SPA with its area of 2,500 m2 is dedicated to the modern world of SPA and combines three lines: Medical and Balneo programs, SPA and Wellness therapies, and last but not least, Beauty and cosmetic services.
The center consists of an indoor heated pool, an outdoor cascading pool and sun terrace, a 500m2 fitness center overlooking the complex’s courtyard, an authentic Turkish hammam with a VIP area for two, a thermal area and over 10 massage and spa treatment rooms.
The elegant design of the rooms offers functionality and convenience, with a shower room in each room, and in some an individual steam bath and infrared lamp. An innovative solution for the spa area is the monitoring system, using a panel showing the status of each room unit – lighting, temperature, access, alarm and others. Taking advantage of the natural riches in the neighborhood, W SPA uses natural healing products such as mud and lye and modern application techniques. Mud treatments are a major highlight at the W SPA and are performed in special “rasul rooms” for full body applications, compresses and healing massages. Other highlights of the W SPA are special rooms for Asian rituals (Thai and Balinese massage), hot volcanic stone therapies and the bamboo massage that is emblematic of the W SPA. The center has a specially designated “Treasures of Bulgaria” room for rituals and Bulgarian rose, honey and milk, Rhodope ritual with clay tiles and detox oil with seven Bulgarian herbs. The W SPA has a therapeutic salt pool with underwater massage and a temperature of 36-38°C. Hydromassage combined with a slow walk in the Kneipp path improves blood circulation and stimulates metabolism. The halo therapeutic effect can be enhanced with a relaxation session in the salt room. Its walls are made of blocks of Himalayan salt, and a halogen generator creates a therapeutic microclimate, dispersing raw rock salt in an aerosol form with different new intensities. The guests of W SPA have access to the thermal area of the complex, which includes 4 saunas – herbal (45 degrees), steam (45 degrees), Finnish ( 95 degrees) and Turkish hammam Bath (42-45 degrees). The relaxation area is equipped with enough places to rest and is close to it. Stretching, yoga, medical rehabilitation, gymnastics and Fit Ball are offered daily.
